The more enriched a person makes our lives, the harder it is for us to let them go. For this reason, we know that saying goodbye to Allen will be the hardest sorrow to bear. We hope that the wonderful memories you have as well as the love and friendship you have around you, will support you through this time and help you to smile once again. Praying for you.

Dear sweet wonderful, funny, loving family! I know you more than you know me. And Shelby (my husband) has heard all about Grandma's cooking and Garrison's graduation etc. But now my thoughts have changed to all of you directly.

My heart is so heavy for Haleigh, Garrison, Marcie and Allen's parents. Just knowing Haleigh and Robert has made us influenced by the love of the Schulze family.

My husband and I have been praying so much for you. And that's what we were called to do. When Robert sent out the alert to 'pray, pray, pray' then Shelby and I prayed all day, every day as I know many people did.

By his/your generous gift to give sight to those who have never seen a coconut pie with meringue like mountain peaks, for kidneys for those who now can lead lives so they can enjoy their children, for a liver that will save a dad, a child, a mom — Allen's legacy lives on.

Marcie, Haleigh, Garrison, and family, Shelby and I will keep you in our prayers and thoughts.

Schulze family,

Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. We pray that God gives you comfort in the many memories that your heart holds. We ask that God give you all strength to take one day at a time. If the road gets too hard to take a day at a time, take it an hour at a time. In time, the pain will be replaced by happy memories and the peace that Allen is walking the streets of pure gold and rejoicing. Always remember, it is not goodbye....just goodbye for a while!

To Allen's Family and Co-Workers:

I am so saddened to hear of Allen's passing. I knew Allen for many years working for TxDOT as an appraisal colleague in the Waco District. He was so smart and kind, and I enjoyed the many conversations we had over the years. I will always remember his phone call to me on the day of my retirement, wishing me well. May God bless you all during this very difficult time. Allen, may you rest in peace with the Lord.
